This is an extremely nice, completely ORIGINAL 1974 Suzuki TS250 Savage motorcycle. I first purchased this motorcycle in 1989 from a friend who had it stored in a barn on her ranch. Yes, a barn where she kept it covered, rarely riding it around their small ranch. This motorcycle is in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures. In fact, this is my first motorcycle to enter my motorcycle (all Japanese) collection. Over the years, I have ridden it occasionally around the neighborhood, showing it at events, and entering for judging at VJMC, Antique Motorcycle Club, and Classic Japanese shows in Northern and Southern California. The first time it was shown was in 2007 and earned "Best Dual Sport" for it's originality and condition. See picture of plaque awarded while viewing the attached pictures. The motorcycle runs perfectly, shifts smoothly, and has only 1,742 miles on the odometer. Since any original 39 year old motorcycle will have some wear there are some minor scratches on the front fender, and two nicks on the gas tank. The previous owner rode the motorcycle on her ranch and these minor imperfections were inflicted back in the early 1980's. Since purchasing the motorcycle I have kept it inside my garage, under cover, and in excellent condition at all times. Included in the sale will be an original accessory rear rack (not installed at this time) that came from the dealer. Also included will be the owner’s manual, Clymer's service manual, original sales brochure from the dealer, and various replacement (gaskets etc.) parts. Reason for selling: I have retired and would like someone else to enjoy this motorcycle like I have over these past 24 years.
