Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a true Mojave Desert car. I brought this car out to Alabama 4 years ago and have stored inside my shop since. This car was a daily driver owned by an aircraft Jet Engine Mechanic who worked in Mojave CA and Edwards Air Force Base. Bottom line is, this car is very solid and straight with all the original body panels. This is not some hot rodded car or has had a second rate restoration. This car was repainted once, many years ago as seen by the desert sun faded paint, but is all there ready to drive with the patina look or full makeover. The few slight issues are, that as a jet engine mechanic the previous owner was a bit eccentric and added an aftermarket tail spoiler, bra, windshield visor and Chevy emblem on the hood. I have removed these and had a professional welder weld fill all the holes (2 weeks ago) and once painted by the new owner this will be as good as new. A used factory spoiler is included in this sale. The car had a sponge type rubber mat in the trunk and there is some rust evident in the center of the pan only, the rest is very solid. This is easily repaired without the need for a full trunk pan. The only other spot is one of the fenders where a very small rust spot is starting and a slight blemish at the bottom of the passenger door. This Camaro is as good a desert car as you will find. The floor pans are in perfect condition, under the hood is very clean with a very good running 350 CI and turbo 350 trans. This car fires right up and runs and drives. The interior shows the usual wear of a 42 year old car and the headliner is in real good shape. I'm selling because I bought a 1936 pickup and need the money and space. I have done my best to share the few blemishes on this rare find. Look at the pictures and see what a great car this is. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the sale early. If possible come and look for yourself, check it out and hear it run. Clear title. Call with other questions. 256-200-2824
