This is an amazing example of an unmolested 49 Sport Coupe..the drivetrain is a stock 6 and a 3 speed on the tree.. literally purs..so quiet ypu can't hear it run at idle unless you turn down the ORIGINAL WORKING RADIO.. Drives arrow straight.. tracks smooth.. tight steering and brakes.. this car defies the old adage.. old cars drive sloppy.. not true this one drives and steers great with its stock set up.. Not an expert.. but car appears to be heavily optioned.. radio.. deluxe heater ... I don't know how to use it so if you do send email and I will check to see if it is operational... dual rear view mirrors..RARE FACTORY inside hood release.. Great interior and headliner.. excellent dash and interior brightwork Paint is way above average and will shine.. I wash it with Bleach White which gives it a satin look without damaging the finish...allowing someone to wax it back to a shiny finish.. most of stainless is very very good.. Have no idea if paint is original color, but there are no telltale signs of a color change ..no tape lines..no overspray on rubber or stainless..etc This is a 64 year old car so ..I'm not saying it is rust free.. but frame and floors are very good and I see no bubbling.. slight surface rust on lower crease in front of right rear fender well Engine Dept looks totally stock with a new 6 volt battery.. Trunk looks great with an original wheel and what looks like a vintage correct spare The Visor is the real deal.. Fulton from Milwaukee.. not a cheap imitation All the locks .. lights blinkers work ..I don't think the gauges do.. Car has an open title from the person I bought it from..Ga doesn't issue titles on cars of this vintage .. Rather than forfeit the existing title in exchange for a tag receipt ... I chose not to title it and keep the transferable title ...but if you prefer car can be sold on a Ga. bill of Sale..i will do whatever makes you more comfortable.. Please ask questions..but only if you are considering buying the car...PLEASE DONT BID IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE CONTINENTAL U.S. OR HAVE A RATING LESS THAN 10 Lastly , I am a car guy ..so I will consider trades and work with any real buyer..bid with confidence it is a good car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the ' non car guys '..remember this is a 1949 Chevy..yeah it drives great..but not like your wifes BMW..lol..that would require modern suspension ; brakes and drivetrain...so bid accordingly
