Vehicle Detail
1977 Dodge Tradesman B200 Van. This versatile jewel of the 1970’s is one Groovy ‘Shaggin Wagon’ and a surfer’s dream. Runs and Drives excellent, tracks straight and drives easily. The 360 v-8 starts easily and runs strong and smooth without issues. Van is very sound mechanically and has recently made a few San Diego to Arizona trips. Does not smoke, drip, or misbehave. Van has a performance intake and carb with dual exhaust and glass packs. Runs beautifully with a soft rumble. Wheels are authentic American Racing Wheels. The Bubbletop raised roof offers room to comfortably move around or even change your clothes. Stow your surfboard inside at the ready…, out of the way and out of view. Kick back on the big rear bench seat, crack the roof vent and rear windows and watch the world roll by while you relax in privacy and enjoy a beverage. When the day is gone, throw down on the new thick carpet and recharge your batteries. The interior is in good overall condition. The rear seat and front seats are clean, the vinyl soft and displaying minimal wear. The new custom carpet was recently professionally installed. The roof does not leak, nor are there any unusual smells. The doors align well and operate without issue. All doors lock correctly and open/lock with key. The rear windows open (out), there is a RV style roof vent above the seating area in the rear. The only rust concern is the drip edge between the fiberglass bubble and the van, primarily above the rear doors. Otherwise, this California and Arizona native is basically free of corrosion and still wears original green paint and custom graphics. A few pieces of the insulation foam was loose and removed a bit ago, easy enough to replace and install new finish paneling to complete the interior. The title is a Clear Arizona title. As noted, the vehicle is in overall very sound mechanical shape. The only two things of note are a mild pulsation of the brakes when initialized (likely a rotor requiring turning) and the rear tires are showing some checking. Overall, this is a nice road worthy classic worthy of restoration. Enjoy as is, or restore to your taste. Either way quite a cool old Van. I would not hesitate to drive this van anywhere (maybe put new tires on the rear, fronts are pretty new). Buy/Drive with confidence. I've sold several leisure vehicles here on e-bay over the years and have always received very positive feedback. Please bid with confidence as I represent things honestly.
