Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Up for your bid or buy-it-now is a 1960, Chevrolet Biscayne that was recently featured in a tech series in Muscle Car Review magazine titled Road Ready Biscayne. This car came out of Montana a little over ten years ago. It was a low mileage, bare-bones six-cylinder car. It went through an extensive frame-on restoration where the six was replaced with a professionally rebuilt 348 with factory style tri-power with progressive linkage. The minor rust on the body was repaired, a new interior added and it was painted in Chevrolet’s famous Roman Red. It rolls on 60-series BFGs mounted on five-spoke American mags. The Muscle Car Review series detailed upgrades to the car to make it an excellent long distance driver. Added to the car in this documented series were: Vintage Air air conditioning system, Dakota Digital cruise control, a CPP power steering assembly with a 600 box, power front disc brakes, an aluminum radiator and a 700R4 transmission with a Lokar shifter. The final article where the car was taken on a shakedown cruise is on the stand now (November, 2013 issue). While upgraded with the latest in technology, this car retains its old school charm with a Sun tach on the column and factory tri-power. Included with the sale will be a collection of the issues of Muscle Car Review that detailed each upgrade. Here’s the basics: 1960 Biscayne two-door sedan. Frame-on restored ten years ago.
