The higher pitched sound is because the motor is gear driven and is suppose to sound that way. The car is a original California Car. Has been sitting for 23 years, 17 of them was inside and 6 was outside. When purchased the car was stripped to bare metal and some body work was done. A sandable primer was then applied to prevent surface rust. The car is missing the glove box door as pictured. The original car color was yellow with a black vinyl top. The picture of the yellow car is of the car that is for sale. Comes with the factory console. Car does have a cracked windshield. Car does need a headliner. The driver side floor panel needs a patch or replacement. There is a remote starter switch installed. The car does run and drive but I would not take it across country.
