Classic BMW with the classic sound. I bought from gentleman in Albuquerque who had bike taken down to frame. The frame was powder coated. Seat customized with cloth on seating area because of heat in summer. Custom paint and pin striping. Later year BMW snowflake hubs and dual front disks were added. Bike was amazing, but a few things needed done to make it perfect. (Light for turn signal didn't work, etc.) I took to Bob at Bob's Motorwerks in Roberts, Montana, who is known country wide as an expert at fixing classic BMWs. I gave him carte blanche to fix anything that wasn't right. It is right now. The bike runs and drives amazing. The only thing added after being at Bob's were new mirrors that are super clear and an original throttle screw for cruise control. I also bought a pair of straps, at Bob's suggestion, to ensure the hard bags will not work loose or pop open. They work great. The pictures should speak for themselves. It isn't a show bike, but it is nice, really nice. Minor flaws are the paint under tank by the petcock on left side has bubbled because of gas leak when prior owner had it. He fixed it and it has never happened since. Some minor blems on the pipes due to rubber melting off my boots, and the hard bag keys do not lock the bags and I haven't fixed them. I have receipts from PO when he had the bike worked on in Santa Fe. I also have the receipts from Bob's Motorwerks. It comes with a tool kit and a Haynes Manual and Owners Manual. The only reason I am selling is because my teenage daughter needs a vehicle, and I want my FJ60 Landcruiser back for the winter. I have a motorcycle trailer and would be willing to haul if close and we could agree on fee. Otherwise, I will assist getting to transport if that is your wish. Must have payment in full before transport or pickup. Payment of $500 within 48 hours and full payment before release. If you have a rating less than 90% don't bother.
