I drive this car every weekend but after picking it up, I recommend getting it shipped since it needs some minor work (read description below) @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ 1971 Buick Riviera - A real head turner! It is registered and I have the title in hand. Original 7.5L 455 engine. Speedometer was broken so I don't know the mileage on this engine. Rebuilt in 2008. Runs strong. Original TH-400 Transmission. Work done in 2013: New 3-row Copper/Brass Radiator from "Performance Radiator". New Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel Carburetor - Electric Choke New 100 amp Alternator New Interstate Battery New water and fuel pump. Transmission Fluid Changed Intake manifold was powder coated. (red) New Universal Harness from EZ Wiring. All electrical components/switches are brand new. It has a new Alpine stereo in place of original radio. There are 4 brand new Sony Speakers in the car. Original Style Buick Floor Mats ($200 on retail) Work done earlier: (2-3 years ago) New Cherry Bomb Dual Exhaust System. New upholstery New Headliner. New carpet. Door panels are redone with new vinyl. Photos don't show door straps but I have them. Just needs to be installed. All rusted parts on floor panels were cut out and replaced with new metal sheet. Floor and doors are covered with sound deadening material from B-Quiet. Also floor is covered with VComp sound deadening composite: http://www.b-quiet.com/vcomp.html Bumpers have been re-chromed. I sent them out to California which costs about $1500. It has new gauges for Speedometer, voltmeter, fuel meter, and clock. (speedometer needs speedometer cable) Original dashboard is included so you can revert it back to original. Work that needs to be done: - There is some slack in steering wheel. - Engine mounts need to be replaced. - Heating/Cooling system in place with a new compressor. Need to finish wiring and new hoses. (Harness has available wires) - Starter has hot-start problem. When you drive about 30 minutes, the starter gets hot and won't start until it cools down (about 20mins). Not urgent but a new starter will solve the issue. - Windshield wipers and switch is in place but needs wiring. The harness also have available wires. - Power Seat is fully functional but needs wiring. Harness has available wires. - As you can see from the photos, paint is not perfect. there are some peeling in few places. - Upholstery is new but needs a little touch in back seat panel and few other places. - The photo from the front of the car shows a missing trim but I have it in hand. Just needs to be installed. Additional Items Included: Original Dashboard/Gauges Original Exhaust Manifolds. Old Quadrajet Carburetor (doesn't work) Old 60-amp alternator (works) I have listed every detail about this car but it is best if you come and see it in person.
