Here's a rare ISDT, (International Six Days Trails) MZ 250ETS. #52442. The ETS is a very rare, low production MZ built specifically for ISDT competition. It's a brutally tough machine, fitted with original tool bag and tank mounted tire pump. This bike has been in a barn for decades, it's a totally original piece with absolutely NOTHING repainted/plated etc. (was tempted to paint the pipe but decided against) I have pulled the tank and body work for cleaning. It appears this bike has not only never been raced but hardly ridden at all. The original tires/rims are perfect showing next to no wear although spokes have rust. No scuffs or evidence that this bike had ever been used off road. What I have done is a good deep cleaning, checked compression/spark and a complete carb service. The bike had been previously fitted with a Sudco Mikuni but do have the original Amal. Speedo/cable is missing. Other than relatively minor tank dent, (capable body shop should be able to repair and blend) and headlight bezel pitting, bike is in fantastic shape. I''l be glad to assist/arrange shipping throughout the US if needed. Please feel free to ask questions. The bike runs fantastic. starts very easily, idles fine, shifts through all 5 gears fine. Clutch works perfectly with no slip. It sounds amazing and is a very tight extrremely low use machine. -The tank does have a bit of rust inside, nothing rediculous but it had sat for decades in a barn with the gas cap off. A thorough cleaning wiht muriatic acid should do the trick.
