Interior - You are bidding on a non smoker clean vehicle. Although it has no AC, the door panels remove easily(doors can also be removed!) and convertible soft top lowers quickly, so you have that nice summer ride. There is a very small rip on side of passenger seat. It is not easily noticed but I took a picture of it. There is also a very small hole the size of a pen tip in passenger seat. See pics. Seat covers are included but were removed so pictures show actual seats. The seat covers are gray fabric, match, and are in nice condition. The carpet is in good condition. Matching floor mats are included as you can see in the pictures. The driver's side sun visor has come unattached. It is included but needs addressing. Exterior - You will be hard pressed to find a nicer 1999 Jeep. Being a southern vehicle its entire life, it has seen very little use on salted roads. Expect a rust free vehicle as pictures show. Paint and fender wells in very good condition. There is some minor paint flaking on side mirrors as shown in pictures. This can be addressed via touch up paint if you desire. It has no effect on mirror function. The soft top was replaced three years ago. Zippers on the windows are finicky; sometimes you have to try a few times to get zippers to latch. Being a garage kept vehicle and driven in fair weather, this was not a concern. Some jeep owners sew the zippers shut permanently and pop the door panels out when desiring ventilation. Of course the entire soft top can be lowered in a matter of moments for true open air cruising. The rear bumper is not attached. It was removed for refurbishing(in same nice condition as front bumper!) and of course is included as well as bolts to attach it. Bumper has a built in 2 inch receiver hitch which is nice if you want to attach a bike rack or cargo rack. The vehicle has NOT been used to tow trailers. Drive train - the 4 cylinder motor is good on gas. It runs strong and does not leak fluids. The motor was rebuilt about 2 years ago(16K miles ago) at a local reputable shop. Receipts can be provided. Oil changes were done every 3-5000 miles. The 5 speed shifts smooth and the clutch operates very good. The 4 wheel drive works great! As you can see from the pictures, there are four matching Uniroyal Laredo white letter tires on aluminum rims. A lot of tread remains on the tires and they are worn evenly. The spare is also a white letter tire(not a Uniroyal) and it is on a matching aluminum rim, which means all five rims match, a nice feature rarely seen on vehicles. I am selling this vehicle for a friend who doesn't have an eBay account. I have driven the vehicle and examined it closely, quizzed the owner, and feel that it has been described accurately here. You will enjoy this vehicle! Reason for selling? Seller has too many vehicles!
