Description You are looking at a scarce nearly new original 1979 Chevrolet Chevette with an unbelievable 1711 original miles. Please scroll down and enjoy the 200+ photos. If you cannot view all the photos, please click here. This is an ultra low mile cream puff that was purchased by the original owner in Florida for his wife who passed away 2 months after purchase. It was brought into the dealership twice a year for oil changes but not driven since she died. It has never seen salt and has not seen any real use since new. It has an excellent body, perfect interior, and mechanically, it runs and drives great. It still feels new, and it has tons of documentation including the original dealer invoice, manuals, warranty cards, and more. The tires do sing a bit due to age. Below is the video collection of this vehicle: This car belongs in a museum, and may be the lowest mile Chevette on the planet. Look closely at the photos - it is a super clean example. To have all the documentation, and be a southern car with almost no miles makes it that much more attractive. The tabs on the side window are broken from being brittle, and there is a slight dent on the rear. The interior also has some sun fade but we are being picky. If you detail this car out, it will appear nearly new. The Chevrolet Chevette was introduced in September 1975 and manufactured for model years 1976-1987 based on GM's worldwide T platform and superseding the Vega as Chevrolet's entry-level subcompact. The Chevette was the best-selling small car in America for 1979 and 1980. It was popular in South America as well, where production lasted until 1998.
