Any Landrovers over 25 years old that we had in the past were sold to a company that exported them to the U.S.A and Canada however we are now doing this ourselves and can also send to other worldwide locations. We have an extensive knowledge of Landrover Defenders and below you will find a complete and accurate description of this one. The Landrover has been owned locally near my location and the keepr has spent alot of money adding extras to it such as parabolic suspension, gaz shocks and a 2 inch suspension lift. There is a very good set of wheels and tyres which cost $1000 on their own. There has also been spotlights fitted and it really does look very good indeed. It was first registered on the 07-01-1975 so it is well past the 25 year old mark so it will be accepted into the USA with no problems whatsoever. It has just passed its annual UK Government safety test which tests the chassis, brakesn suspension, steering, etc etc so it is in very good shape. I have a full folder of paperwork, receipts etc etc which mount up to a lot of money being spent on it. The bodywork is in good solid shape for its age. There is no rot anywhere on any of the bodywork. The sides are nice and straight and there are no major marks other than an odd light ding here and there but nothing bad at all. Someone has fitted the later push button defender doors which are much better than the originals. Also the wheels really do look very good indeed and someone has also fitted the very nice wheel arches to give a more off road look. It really is a good solid thing. The chassis really is superb and is very solid indeed, absolutely no rot whatsoever. The inside of the Landrover is in decent condition also. The 3 front leather seats are in very good condition and only the drivers side one has a light mark to the leather but really nothing major indeed. To the rear of the Landrover there are 2 bench seats so an extra 4 people can be carried in the rear. The dashbaord and door cards are basic but complete. There is an upgraded steering wheel fitted which is better than the original one and is smaller so easy to maneouvre. The engine starts and runs with no nasty noises etc. The gearbox is very good and all gears select as they ought to. The clutch operates as it ought to. The 4wd system all works as it ought to.
