Vehicle Detail
Hello ebay, I've listed my charger before some months ago, but the offers were a couple grand shy of what I was hoping for. Well, after some maintenance and upkeep, I've decided to relist and lower my asking price by a couple grand :) PLEASE, U.S. BIDDERS ONLY! NO CONSIGNMENT OFFERS! And sorry, not looking for trades either. Next, please see the "seller notes" above for all known issues. Now on to the good stuff! The Charger looks bada$$ and will turn heads anywhere you go. It starts up every time, and roars like a beast. Its a super rare, great condition Hurst 4-speed, 383 1969 Dodge Charger. I even have the original 1969 work order production sheet. I purchased it about 4 years ago and I've only put on about 4000 miles. I've had a lot of professional work done and have all the paperwork for that as well. I had plans for more, but bought a house and need the money for home improvement. This Charger has a great mechanical foundation and is ready for that extra TLC to polish it off for show quality or drive it as is showing off around town. Already working, fixed or rebuilt: * The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has about 45,000 miles on it. Driveshaft. Hurst shifter. Power steering and brakes. Gauges all work (except the clock). Hideaway headlights work completely. Wipers. Headlights, Taillights, Parking Lights, Brake Lights, Turn signals (however, there are driver indicators on the hood - facing the driver - that do not work. This doesn't effect what other drivers see. The actual signal lights and dash indicators function perfectly.) Heater, defrost. All windows roll up and down. New: * Carburetor: 625 CFM Universal Edelbrock. Interior seats, doors, floor, and roof had been completely redone by the previous owner. Fuel Pump. Wheels: Refurbished discontinued American Racing 15" X 8" Vector Rims (all right hand threads now). Tires: Firestone Firehawks - P235/60R15 and P255//60R15 (with 55,000 mile warranty at Wheelworks). New extra high lift Rear Leaf Springs. New adjustable control arms. New battery. New brakes. New upper and lower ball joints. Custom guage faces (see pic). New center console. Extras: * Components to install Door Poppers. You can remove the door handles completely if you want. Components for power windows. 2 ton jack - much better than the original stock jack (original is also in trunk though).1969 Dodge Charger Service Manual and electrical guide. The original A/C is in the trunk. And finally, for the hard core, I've even decoded as much of the fender tag as possible :) Code Description Code Description E63 383-4 Barrel C55 Bucket Seats D21 Heavy Duty 4-Speed Manual Transmission G11 Tinted Glass All XP29 X = Dodge Charger P = Premium 29 = 2 Door Sports Hardtop G31 Right Hand Outside Mirror - Manual / Chrome H9B H = 383 330HP OR 335HP 1-4BBL 8 CYL 9 = 1969 B = Dodge Main, Hamtramck, MI, USA G33 Left Hand Outside Mirror - Manual / Chrome 266169 Sequence Number '266169' B51 Power Assisted Brakes W1 Paint Code: Unknown At This Time L31 Hood / Fender Mount Turn Signal CRT Trim Grade/Style/Color C = Charger R = Vinyl and Leather Bucket Seats T = Saddle Tan N21 Air Pump T3 Upper Door Frame: Unknown At This Time N25 Engine Block Heater 116 Date Built: 1 / 16 / 1969 N31 opt compress ratio 073525 Order Number: 073525 N51 Max Engine Cooling A01 Roof Type OR Color: Light Package R22 AM w/ 8-Track A47 Special Edition Package V1T Full Vinyl Top - Tan B41 Front Disc Brakes Some Yrs.
