Wow! three cars in one week and all the buyers had some reason to justify not paying.. on this car the buyer wanted to pay the deposit then come and inspect the car and if he liked it he would pay...Really ..he lives about 3 hours away and made no effort to see car before auction ends...So I'm relisting..If you want to view car and I encourage you to do so..please come by...I have tried diligently to describe this car accurately..It is EXACTLY as described..so bid with confidence..but if you win ..You bought the car..NOT the right to come and look at it This is a unique 60 Chevy Patina Rod.. Upon purchase.. I freshened the brakes ..lowered it..and rebuilt shifter linkage etc. throughly sorted the car. It Drives great with the exception of the traditional sloppy 1960 Power Steering. New 20s and 18s..New Rubber..Custom Interior..Before I did the interior I covered the perfect floor with Dynamat..including the rear package shelf...fresh Patina Paint..new emblems..door locks and Keys. new door and window harware and cranks Strong Small Block ; Fresh dual exhaust; and 4 speed with Hurst Shifter I have driven this car to numerous shows(draws a crowd) some of them as far as 8 hours round trip without a hick up. As shown in photos trunk is also dynmatted and contains most of the stock stainless. NEGATIVES..I did not bother with heat or wipers ( Rain X)..Scrape on Winshield ( see photos) The passenger window doesn't roll down..(I paid a shop to get windows operational..too busy to go back and get redone..dont think it is a hard fix)On Oct-23-13 at 15:03:49 PDT, seller added the following information: OK..just to be clear..listed in payment methods is payment in cash in person...If you do not preview the car before auction ends..I will only accept a wire payment..BEFORE PICKUP!..At last auction the high bidder did not preview the car..then wanted to come look at it and if it was what he thought it should be from his interpretation of my description...he would pay cash..I explained this is an auction ..not a used car lot..You won the auction..not the right to preview the car...In an auction you preview before you bid..you don't place the winning bid ..then show up later that week to look at car and if is what you want ...pay cash..for the record I refunded his deposit and promptly blocked him from future auctions..Nice guy just not familiar with the ebay process. This car has been described very accurately..bids with confidence..however everybody interprets descriptions differently...so please ask questions..come see the car..but this must be done before you win the auction...I have 100% Positive rating..I earned it and I want to keep it..so please lets follow the rules and we both will be happy Thanks
