Per the WO Bentley Memorial Foundation: The car is a Bentley Mark VI standard steel saloon. The chassis number is B 317LJ and the engine number is B 157L. The chassis was bodied with a Standard steel saloon body numbered 4133. First owner was R.Alexander, I do not have any details but he may have been Scottish as the agent, through which the car was bought (Rossleigh), was in Edinburgh. The UK registration number was DMS 600. This registration number was issued in 1951 from Stirlingshire in Scotland. The car was finished in Black with a single Gold line and the interior was brown hide with brown piping, brown carpet and fawn headcloth. Owners comments: The car still has the original engine, #B157L starts and runs fine.
