PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO READ THIS AD FULLY!!!!!!! *****LOW RESERVE***** This a for a 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne 4 door sedan.This is a true survivor car.It is supposed to be a original low mileage car that was stored for years in a barn.I personally believe it is,It has a lot of things that indicate the mileage is probably pretty close to correct,but I have no way to certify it.It is showing 29K but the speedometer cable is bad.I have a new one that will come with the car.I do not feel it has much more than what is showing.It still has it's original paint and interior.The original owners manual and keys.All the hoses and most clamps are still original to the car.See photos.The shocks are still good and are the original delco swirls.All the splash tins are still in the engine compartment and are not rusted.The gauges are crystal clear and they all work even the radio still plays thru the original speaker.The 6 cyl engine runs perfect and the automatic choke still works.The doors open and shut like new.All the original rubber is still soft and like new.The car is still wearing it's original paint and has never had any body work done,so what you see is what you get.The interior is still original and even the original rubber floor mat is still descent and soft.The front seat needs the insert replaced and some padding .The rear seat is descent as is the package tray.The door panels are savable.The headliner will need replacing.All the interior chrome and trim is like new.Every thing electrical works right down to the dash lights,radio,cigar lighter,dome light,head and tail lights,brake lights,turn signals and wipers.All the wiring is excellent and NOT brittle.The car has some options for a Biscayne,It has a radio with rear antenna,front fender spears.The car drives good and is tight.The 3 speed manual trans shifts smooth(3 on the tree) and the clutch is good.There is no noises in the rear end.The motor is tight and smooth.It runs good really doesn't leak anything at all.I tuned it up but I still have the original plug wires and cap.It has a full set of Corvette 8" rallys with moon caps and a very good set of BFG radials.The brakes could use bleeding and adjusting but will stop the car.The master cylinder is new.I would recommend checking everything on the brakes before a long drive.Due to the brakes,I would recommend the car to be transported.The body is very straight and for the most part solid.The doors are rust free, as is the hood and trunk lid.There is NO rust around the trunk weatherstrip gutter like on most these cars.All the gaps are great and everything opens and shuts good and solid.The front fenders are rusted above the parking lights and below the headlight buckets, but they make patch panels for these areas.The drivers rear quarter has some rust and will need a lower patch panel.The passenger side one along with the tire well is surprisingly good.The spare tire is complete with the correct jack and lug wrench.The trunk pan is livable with only a few small places.There is NO rust on the inner rear wheel wells or body mounts.There is a small rust spot on the passenger side rear fender lip.The front floors are good and the rear ones are savable.The rockers are good with only one very small spot on the passenger outer side,easy fix.The frame is excellent.There is NO rust under the rear seat pan.There is NO rust around the windows or the roof gutters.The window seals are still good.All the chrome and stainless is very good shape.The car is very straight other than the damage on the drivers rear quarter and a small crease on the front edge of the passenger front fender,by the headlight bucket.There is NO rust under the rear fins, nor is there any damage to the tops of the fins,no dents or creases,nobody has been sitting on it,like most 59 chevy's.Any other rust you see in the photos is just surface rust on the original paint.All the glass is in the car and the windows roll up and down easily.The front and rear windows are good but the side glass has some cracks,but I have a full set of perfect original side glass that will come with the car and some extra trim including a good passenger side headlight surround and extra parking light bezels.All in all this is very good old original 59 Chevy that is affordable to own and enjoy while you work on it.It will drive onto a trailer or transport truck with no problems.This car is priced to sell fast and is a bargain for what it is. Please keep in mind this is a 55 year old car.With that said, it still has a lot of life left in it.
