The previous owner brought the white car out from San Jose California and it has been stored in a garage since the 1970s, restoration was started on the white car. The black one was purchased as a parts car. Both cars were part of an estate and paper work has already started at the DMV to obtain clear titles which will be signed over the successful buyer. The white car has a lot going for it and it will be an great starting place for a restoration. The under carriage really is spectacular, it is dry and looks great. The paint looks like it is all original so what you see is a virgin car. The engine was supposedly restored along with the running gear. It has new belts hoses and the radiator looks like it was gone through. The carb looks rebuilt. The wheels were blasted and painted in a professional manner. When you look in the trunk all the original carpet is there and looks like it is in good shape. This really is a easy car to restore as you wont be spending hours on rust repair, dents and the usual years of repairs. The previous owner had removed the interior to have it restored and at the time of the sale it couldnt be found, the same with the side glass however the parts car has most everything to complete the restoration. I was able to start the engine, but the starter is dragging. THE PARTS CAR. The top mechanism is complete with all pumps, relays, lines, top bows (which are in great shape) Engine with complete drive line is all there. All dash components are also there. The top unscrewed when the button was engaged. Interior lights came on. All the window glass frames are good condition. miles are unknown The seats for this car will work from a sedan as will the door panels I am told. I will continue to work on the white car to get it a bit further down the road. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. The paperwork has been with the DMV and you will recieve a clear title on the white car and most likely the black one.You can see from the pictures the car is under cover and will be so until it is picked up. If you need the cars transported let us know your zip code and we will try to get a quote from our friend. IF THE CARS DO NOT MEET THE RESERVE SET WE MAY OFFER IT TO THE NEXT HIGHEST BIDDER THE RESERVE HAS BEEN LOWERED
