Vehicle Detail

Hello again! I'm relisting my Cruiser, and here are some updates: - I had the couple small body blemishes professionally repaired (they also painted the entire roof, it looks great!)- I just renewed the registration, so it has almost a full year.- I lowered the Reserve (I will post what the reserve is 1 day before the auction ends). The VIN number on this Land Cruiser is BJ61004178. Hello fellow Land Cruiser fans! I hate to say it but I have to let my 1985 BJ61 Toyota Land Cruiser go because I just don't have room for it. My garage is packed and because this Cruiser deserves to be garaged I've had to cram her in there without extra space. I've owned this for about a year (yes, this was posted about a year ago) and have been using it as a daily driver (garaged every day). It's been amazing to drive this Right-Hand-Drive Diesel without a single problem for the last year. I've put about 2,000 miles on it since last August. What a head turner!!!! Almost every day people point at me driving on the "wrong" side. I have the clean California title in my name and it's registered as a Diesel (no smog, ever). Super low miles of only 103,683. The interior looks brand new, there really isn't anything to note on blemishes (dash has factory cover and is crack-free). I also own a 2002 Tacoma with fewer miles, and yet the Land Cruiser shifts and drives way smoother and nicer than the Tacoma. The cruiser fires up about as fast as you can turn the key on and off (see video). I've used the 4x4 gently on some forest roads, and it worked flawlessly. It has new Pro-comp Rock Crawler wheels with 32-inch Yokohama Geolander tires. A new ARB safari rack comes with it, I currently have it off because the Cruiser won't fit in my garage with it on (I will re-install after action). The undercarriage has be treated with Raptor coating. My daily driving which is a 12 mile commute 50% highway 50% city, I've been averaging 22MPG (driving 70 MPH on the highway). On a trip last fall where i\I drained the tank on all highway driving I got 29MPG (cruising at 70 MPH)!!!!! This Cruiser has been a blast to drive (nicknamed her Yoshimi). How smooth it drives and gas mileage have put smiles on my face. This is the 3B diesel, no turbo -- it is by no means "fast". But it gets up to speed just fine and cruises down the freeway. I love starting it because it fires so fast, and hearing that sweet growl of the diesel. I'm a mechanical engineer, and have re-built cars/trucks with my dad since I was able to walk. When I first saw this Cruiser, I immediately popped the hood, inspected the entire engine compartment, then crawled under the rig and inspected everything. There were no oil leaks, seeps, weeps or any indication of wear and tear on anything. I was amazed and instantly sold on just this status. Oh, and I think the PTO (power take off) winch is the coolest thing every (my Jeep buddies are super jealous of this fully-functioning winch). Overall, the body and chassis is super clean and in really good shape. I just had a couple blemishes professionally repaired. they did an excellent job and went ahead and painted the entire roof, so this cruiser is very straight! So i thought of a few more things. 2000 miles ago ALL fluids were replaces (transmission, power steering, brakes, clutch, differential, water, oil, etc). the entire engine and transmission were inspected and maintenance done by a great diesel mechanic. The Toyota 3B engine is known for going upwards of 300,000 miles without issue (google it, even Wikipedia describes the engine well) if you have any concerns with getting parts, you have nothing to worry about this company: www.SOR.com, has EVERYTHING (for instance the 2 tailgate recieving tabs i got from them). they are really fair priced and very helpful. and last but not least, i uploaded some pictures of the undercarriage and interior; its really this clean! the interior is almost mint, no rips tears or anything to note. wood steering wheel has a really nice feel to it as you drive. all power everything works (even the antenna goes up and down smooth) the locks SNAP faster than most new cars (really, i feel like this thing was built to last forever!!!) anyways, i just wanted to address any questions you might be having and so on. and please, continue to feel free to ask me anything. here are a couple videos:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENszwMmiYBY&feature=youtu.behttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6L5b0uJhzoo&feature=youtu.behttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgmLbfu8XCM&feature=youtu.be pictures (be sure to crank up the resolution, to really see the details)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pf87chWh-Wc&feature=youtu.be Thank you for looking, any questions please feel free to ask, I will respond ASAP, Good Luck! Thanks, Jake
