THIS AUCTION IS FOR A CUSTOM BUILT 1964 VW BAJA BUG.WE HAVE BEEN BUILDING AND RESTORING CLASSIC VWS SINCE 1984 AND HAVE A HUGE SELECTION OF CLASSIC BUGS, BUSSES, GHIAS AND MORE. THIS PARTICULAR CAR IS A GREAT RUNNING VEHICLE THAT WE HAVE HAD AT OUR FACILITY IN LAS VEGAS FOR THE LAST COUPLE YEARS. THIS BAJA HAS BEEN A BLAST FOR SHOOTING AROUND TOWN AND HAVING FUN. THIS IS A 2 SEATER AND CAN EASILY HAVE A BACK SEAT INSTALLED IF YOU WANTED ONE. THIS CAR IS SET UP FOR THE DESERT AND READY TO RACE WITH A FULL CUSTOM ROLL CAGE AND RACING SEATS WITH FUNCTIONAL HARNESS BELTS. 1,600cc dual port engine, chrome shrouds, 12-volt alternator, Bosch 099 distributor and blue coil, Tri-Mi headers, K&N air filter, bus-type wide front suspension, lifted in the rear and KYB gas shocks at all four corners. 5-spoke off-road wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, full roll-cage with front and rear bumper cages and side nurf bars. Deist safety harnesses hold you into lightweight off-road seats. VDO gauges of tach, oil, amp and temp and a custom rear storage area complete the interior. Cal-Bug one-piece door windows, lights on the roof and blue halogen head lights. Recently painted satin blue and black.
