The current record holder for the most non commercial miles is held by this car the wonderful P 1800 and this year 1971. This is an excellent car to restore as it has great bones. The engine turns freely. We have not tried to start it as I believe the fuel system should be cleaned as this is the fuel injected car with 130hp. There is rust in the rocker area , however the trunk and floor pans seem all very solid. The drivers glass is out I have the piece and it is inside the car. This car has disc brakes and the electric overdrive. Put a battery in it and she cranks over strong and will fire we just wanted to clean the fuel system, the car will probably need a fuel pump. Tires are dry rotted. This car has nice rubber mouldings and most all the stainless trim pieces are present , thr trunk is filled with stereo componentry that the new owner is welcome to. I will not have the garage space for this shortly and I really hate to see it outside. Whenever possible this car has been inside or covered it is not a field find but a car put aside for a future restoration that just hasn't happened.
