Vehicle Detail

This is a relist of this great Willy's. Please don't bid if you have no intentions of buying the car. It must be sold and the owner has reduced the price a full $10,000 in order to get it sold!! How about a totally race ready 40 Willy's that runs consistent 9:70's-9:80's at over 130 mph??? This great steel bodied Willy's can be backed off the trailer and run down the track the minute you get it!! This Willy's has been raced as a gasser steadily since 1964. The chassis was pro-built by Harry Tillman Race Cars. The frame was boxed with a 10 pt. roll cage, Mustang front suspension with coil overs and rack and pinion steering, 4 wheel disc brakes and front and rear motor plates. The rear suspension is a 4 link with new coil overs. The rear end is a bullet proof '57 Olds with Summer Bros. 32 spline axles, spool and 4:56 pro gears. New tires on the front, new 14-32 M-T slicks on the rear w/ only 8 passes and Monocoque racing wheels on all 4 corners. The body is all STEEL, doors also. The tilt front end is fiberglass along with the rear fenders and trunk lid. Power windows, chromed steel garnish mouldings by Mike Nordahl and a new rolled and pleated interior with a full headliner. There are also working tail lights, brake and parking lights. Now for the good stuff! The motor is a 358 cu. in. SBC. It has Brodix heads with SS valves, roller rockers and steel girdle. A Comp Roller cam. 14-1 JE pistons, Lunati Crank and rods, dual 650 Holley Carbs on an Edelbrock tunnel ram intake, a complete MSD ignition, distributor and 7AL box. New CSI water pumps and brand new headers by Pete "Z". The trans was built by Competition Transmission in Buffalo New York at a cost of $5,000. It's a Powerglide with a Dedenbear case and a pro-trans brake. The converter is a 5000 stall 8", also built by Competition Transmission. It also has a Mark Williams carbon fiber drivershaft. Misc. goodies include, a new aluminum radiator, trans cooler and overflow tank, a 16 volt battery, a cheetah shifter with Dedenbear electric shifter, a 3" adjustable trans brake button, Auto Meter tach and gauges, Holley fuel pumps, a 5 gallon fuel cell, a Moroso vacuum pump and a 240 CFM electric cooling fan. This car runs on E-85 fuel and can easily be converted to street with the addition of an exhaust, headlights and a passenger seat. No money has been spared to refresh this great race car and you can buy it for far less then the owner has in it. If you want to discuss any aspects of this strong race Willy's, you can contact me at 585-314-8000. Thanks, Brian Page. Note: This vehicle was NHRA certified as to the cage a couple of years ago. The present owner has not bothered to get the car recertified. Nothing has been changed so a new owner would have no problem obtaining a recertification.
