1961 Chevy Impala pro touring Ground up restoration. This is a beautiful car with great paint and an outstanding leather interior done by the famous Paul Atkins. The motor is a mild built 327 that runs great and has plenty of pep. The transmission is a Tremec 5 speed and it’s great to drive on the highway with that 5th gear. The car has disc brakes up front and drum on the rear and it stops very good. Air ride suspension on all 4 corners gives the car that great stance. The car handles very good it has the big HD sway bar up front and on the rear. The tires are 17’’ up front and 20’’ on the back with the Boyd Coddington wheels . All the trim on the car is very nice but there is a little pitting on the pass side window trim where the back and the front side window meet that piece can easily be replaced if you choose to. The interior has power bucket seats on both driver and pass and they also recline. The car is air conditioned and it blows cold. The controls are mounted neatly in the glove box along with the air ride controls see picture. The car has a chrome tilt Ididit steering column which makes it comfortable to drive. The sound system is real nice and if you see the round object below the dash that’s the controls for the Satellite Radio and CD player that’s mounted in the trunk again see pictures.
