Vehicle Detail
1967 Mustang Convertible 200 cid automatic Night Mist Blue with White top This car is in good shape with no significant rust in the body, floor pans, cowl, etc. The car also starts, runs, and drives. The car has been kept in the garage for over 10 years with only an occasional running to keep things working. In the process, we noted that the car is leaking transmission fluids (assuming it is a hose) and the front brakes are sticking. Also note the interior was redone about 12-years ago but the passenger seat has cracks as shown in the photo. The car also needs new paint and a top. We didn’t get photos of the convertible top but the frame for the top is all there but the convertible top has shrunk and has holes and needs to be redone. The car has some minor dings and scratches and the photos show where primer was added back when we had planned to clean up the car to have the car repainted. We are willing to work with the buyer to ship this car. If you need to have this car shipped, we will expect that you will send a certified bank check which we will deposit and have cleared before we will be willing to allow the car to be picked up or shipped. In addition, we will do our best to be available at some point next weekend to allow anybody that is interested in the car to see it running and to look at anything that they would like. We will try to be available Saturday Oct 12th in the afternoon or Sunday Oct 13th in the morning. Please let me know if you are interested in coming to see the car (zip 19460). Finally, we are starting this at $5,000 with no reserve. We will not end the auction early and if our price is too high we may relist the car or we may just leave it in the garage until we have more time and money to put the car back on the road. A $500 deposit is required after the auction ends and this deposit will be used to cover fees if we need to relist the car due to problem buyers. We have the clean title and this is currently registered in Pennsylvania with antique plates so technically this is road legal although as I indicated it needs brake work and some work done to address a fluid issue. Accordingly, buyer should plan to bring a trailer or roll back truck to take this one home.
