Vehicle Detail
1964 CHEVROLET CORVAIR SPYDER CORVAIR...........150 HP....looks nice.....4 speed transmission............good brakes........stored and unused for a number of years............I just drove it around he neighborhood today!.......55,000 original miles with clear title.....runs good and turbo shows boost indicating that the turbo is functional - you can notice when it is engaged.......trunk is solid........the top needs replacement.............the car belongs to my Father and he has just bought a late model corvair and want to sell this one.........he has owned it for a long time and it was kept inside...........has a new battery, rear coil springs and other miscellaneous parts.......the car is old and needs restoration to be returned to its original glory........I have had many corvair's and this is very solid for a convertible as the pictures indicate........this is not a rust bucket and a car very worthy of restoration or just drive and enjoy in its current condition........the paint is old and seen its time in the sun......it needs a repaint to look sharp...see pictures as they tell the story of the body condition and I welcome you to come an visit the car in person.....the floor rust is focused in the pan area and an easy fix. I have a new floor pan for one side included with the sale of the car........the interior would benefit by recovered seats and door panels...............this is the best of the early model convertibles which includes the transverse spring for the rear suspension that is only available n the 1964 models..........the car has lots of potential and a great restoration platform in my opinion.........ask questions, you will get honest answers..........sold as-is, all sales final.........pay cash when you pick it up. He car must be picked up within 3 weeks of completed auction unless the terms are mutually agreed upon PRIOR TO THE END OF THE AUCTION........thanks for looking!
