Vehicle Detail

History: I bought this car about 20 years ago from another collector. I drove the car around the block to evaluate its condition. The brakes were not working although the engine and transmission were just fine. After the engine heated up, it started to smell bad and I discovered the fan wasn't cooling it properly. I removed the cowling and it was all full of nut shells, seeds, and debris from chipmunks and the like. At that point, I decided to pursue a ground up restoration. I have been restoring BMW motorcycles for 50 years. I have also restored six BMW 700 cars. I don't have time to finish the project because I'm too busy restoring hi-fi tube amplifiers, turntables, etc., in my retail electronics business.
