Hello! NO RESERVE AUCTION: I am selling my vintage, all-original, 1948 GMC Panel Truck. It has a 3 speed on the column transmission, and a straight-6 cylinder motor. Hello! NO RESERVE AUCTION: I am selling my vintage, all-original, 1948 GMC Panel Truck. It has a 3 speed on the column transmission, and a straight-6 cylinder motor. The vehicle does not leak one drop of any type of fluid! The motor runs great. The brakes are good, however it does need a new master cylinder. It was used for advertising purposes for our business. Since we sold the business, we decided to sell the vehicle also. The vehicle is NOT a show vehicle, however it is a nice, presentable driver in its present condition. It has many characteristics of a un-restored vehicle of its age: few dings, few dents, imperfect paint, small rust spots near the very bottom of the doors, fenders, and floor pan. However, the vehicle has been garaged every night for the past 10 years. This vehicle was DEFINITELY a head turner, and drew in great crowds by the road. You could put a vehicle wrap on the vehicle for advertising, install vinyl lettering, or have a custom, hand-painted, old fashioned sign on it like I did (this has since been painted over). The vehicle is being sold right outside of Atlanta, GA (30 miles South). By our law, a title is not required for registration on anything older than a 1985 year model. I checked with my local tag office, and I was informed that every state has to abide by Georgia's laws when the vehicle is sold out of Georgia. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to be informed and abide with their local governing laws. Upon winning the auction, a NON-REFUNDABLE $1,000 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction ending. If this is deadline is not met, the seller reserves the right to void the transaction. The remaining balance must be received in the form of a certified check (that has cleared at my bank) or cash before the vehicle leaves my home. If the seller does not personally pick up the vehicle, then the seller is responsible for the full cost of shipping and handling. I can personally transport the vehicle for you for an additional shipping fee. If you have any more questions, please feel free to call me at (404) 886- 0108. Please no texts, I am unable to even receive them. Good Luck!!! On Sep-16-13 at 05:47:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello!
