This is a one off Defender in that it is finished in a Battleship grey colour and it has other extras such as the newer style gloss black alloys and front facing leather seats in the rear that fold out of the way. The Defender has covered 128,000 miles although the 300tdi engine that has been fitted has only done around 110,000 miles. The Landrover has an MOT until September 2014 and it is also taxed until the end of October 2013 so it can be driven away legally. The exterior of the Landrover really does look fantastic. The truck has very recently had a full respray in battleship grey and it looks superb and makes it look much more modern than the black colour that it was previously. The sides are nice and straight and there are no major marks let alone any marks at all really. There is the odd light discrepancy here and there as you would expect with a Landrover of this age and mileage. Any marks of any significance have all been photographed in the discrepancy section further down the listing. The wheels are off a newer style Landrover and they look very good in this gloss black colour. Overall, a superb looking example that turns heads when driving about. The interior of the Defender is in decent condition. In the front there are two seats and the centre one has been removed although it could be easily replaced if wanted. The front seats have a few light marks but are fitted with seat covers to further protect them. The rear of the Defender is fitted with two front facing seats that have come from a Mitsubishi Shogun which is why they are Leather. The rear seats alos fold up so that you can still use the full boot space if needed. The dashboard and the door cards are in good condition. The inside of the truck is still in black in certain places. The roof lining is a little grubby also but nothing bad at all. The Defender starts well from warm or cold and the engine runs nicely with no nasty noises etc. It revs freely and the turbo spools up as it ought to and there is plenty of pull through the gears. The brakes, suspension etc are all very good and the Defender is at home on country roads as well as on the Motorway. There are no warning lights on the dash and the water temperaterature sits nicely in the middle of the gauge and the heater produces nice warm air. We have just fit a brand new radiator as the old one was looking a bit tired. All in all, very good DISCREPANCIES
