1974 Standard Beetle near Washington, DC. 47k on odometer, but it is not sure if it rolled over once or more. This is a project car complete with motor. It was purchased as a restoration project car in 2001 and was worked on intermittently, but now seller is moving and does not have room! It has solid frame and was running prior to storage in 2006. The front axle beam and spindles were replaced with a complete adjustable, lowered beam with shortened shocks. Exhaust manifold replaced with merged exhaust and stinger. Brakes were also re-done. It needs floors, body work, electrical and interior work. No work has been done for several years and it has not been started since 2006. The gas tank was recently cleaned to try to start again, but battery will not take a charge.
