1972 Corvette LT-1 Convertible This is an untouched restoration project with original paint. The entire drive train are numbers matching. Vin # 1Z67L2S510425 Production Date: 12/1971 Engine # 123510425 V1207CKY Trans # 1295 10425 Rear AB-226--EZ Carb List 6238-1 3997788 True mileage- 43647 Last PA State Inspection was 8-1-1984 Mileage on sticker was 43445 I have known this car since the late 1970's. It has not run in 30 yrs. No attempt to start or turn over engine has been made, Anti Freeze is still bright green in radiator. Most of it's life was spent in a garage--There are no frame problems. The gas tank has never been out of car. Original spare is still in tire holder. All the original parts are with the car-- including--steering wheel, original air injection pump and lines, convertible top (in good condition) needs back window. Only thing missing is the LT-1 valve covers and fuel line to carb. Body Color is Elkart Green. Interior is saddle with leather seats. Total production of LT-1s in 1972 was 1,741. The solid lifter LT-1 engine would end it's 3 year run at the conclusion of the 1972 model year. This was also the first year in which the factory engine designation showed up in the vehicle identification number-- for example-- LT-1's have an L as the fifth digit in their VINs. I have some paper work with this car and a clear PA title. This vehicle is being offered for restoration and sold strictly as viewed.
