1969 C20 Camper Special (Ebay does not have a C20 option) I am the 3rd owner. Truck was titled in January 1969 in Arizona New. The 1st owner had it until May 5th 1999 when the 2nd owner purchased it. The 1st owner was 70 plus years old when he sold the truck. The 2nd owner has spent the last 14 years restoring it and he is now in his 70's and he decided it was time to sell it as he cannot drive it anymore and is retired. The truck was is Arizona its whole life and I bought it from the 2nd owner in Prescott AZ about 3 weeks ago on the 4th of July. I wanted to buy a restored truck in Arizona and drive it home to Nevada with my 5 year old son. Sort of a life experience thing with a son and his dad. It drove home with the ac on at 75mph and zero problems. Engine and drive train Factory 396/ AC/Automatic 2nd owner purchased a brand new GM 502 crate engine part number 12371054 $4,417.88 on January 31 2000 Factory TH400 rebuilt and rebuilt torque converter Factory Dana 60 with the original 3.54 gears (Camper Special I am told) and a rare Posi ( look on the glove box pictures) Rear end completely gone through with new seals and bearings AC with all new parts and filled with R12 and works great New tires and Aluminum rims 16 inch. The 2nd owner took off the split rims. New spare under the back All new belts hoses etc.... Properly Converted to an HEI distributor Ceramic Coated Headman Headers and an beautiful exhaust Brand new Edelbrock 850CFM Quadrajet Part number 1910 I have a factory Air Cleaner he gave me but don't know if it is original to the truck The dual battery option and all the wiring is there just no second battery Basically the entire drive train was redone and I have mountains of receipts from him with every purchase. Paint and Body Factory Paint code in pictures and repainted to that color The paint is beautiful and I do not say that lightly The body is perfectly straight with NO rust or issues. He spent $6000 on the paint in Prescott AZ and took it back 5 times to have them fix every little thing. The roof is perfect The bed is perfect The paint and the body is what sealed the deal for me New bumpers and mirrors Interior The factory rubber floor mat was dark brown but he could not find a new one so a new black mat was installed It came with the cloth insert interior option but also he could not find so he went with the same color tan without the cloth insert. ( look on the option pictures) The dash pad is new and the door panels The arm rests are perfect and original All rubber molding is perfect and I even have spare door moldings and trim he gave me. An extra set all new in the box Windows and and tracks work flawlessly and seal great Glass if perfect This truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.
