1985 Mustang LX “Barn Find” This is an all original 1985 Mustang LX. Unmolested, never had a panel off, near perfect sheetmetal, not a spot of rust anywhere! This car spent its life in California, Nevada, and Florida. Clean Carfax without accidents. This car is probably the most original untouched Mustang I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot! I’ve probably had roughly 30 in all various conditions, (i build em as a hobby). The only thing missing is the original radio. All lights work as they should, blower motor blows air through all the correct vents upon changing the controls. All gauges, dash lights, control knobs work perfectly. The interior is near-perfect. Seats are perfect white vinyl leather. The door panels are 100% intact. All windows roll up and down with ease. The convertible top power motor works perfect, no rips or tears. The paint shines with buffing, clay bar, etc. I buffed out the trunk to reveal shine. The rest of the car should buff out as well. Ten hole wheels with decent tires. (Have 3 or the four wires HC's that came on it as well). All A/C components are intact but compressor isnt working. The engine runs ok…has a slight miss, but it can be driven. (Its been sitting for a long while). I put on a new fuel pump this week. Transmission shifts perfect. Brakes are great. This is a perfect candidate for a V8 swap or rebuild and keep all original. Odometer shows 85,xxx. But its a 5 digit odometer, so Im not sure!!
