In addition to being an extremely desirable color, several other details make this a unique Ford Mustang for a very special new owner. This is a single owner car that was ordered from Ford in May of 1996 so that we could get the exact color and features we wanted. The color is the beautiful Deep Violet Clearcoat Metallic that seems to change color depending on the lighting. It has low mileage, at just over 72,840 original owner-driven miles. We lived in Southern California when we bought the car and now live in Florida. We had the car professionally moved from California to Florida. It has always been extra well cared for. For example, this car has never been in the snow or on icy roads. It spent its nights in a garage and has not suffered from exposure to the sun. Warranty work has been done in the past by certified Ford dealers and we have the paperwork to provide that will show the work that has been done. Most recently we got new tires from Goodyear which are in excellent condition, as can be seen in the detailed photos. The AutoCraft Gold battery, with a seven-year warranty and three-year replacement, was put in during December 2012. In February 2013 we had Sarasota Ford do all of the most recent work, including a full inspection and any required work so all of the systems are in good working order. The most recent work that was done by Sarasota Ford is warrantied for one year, through February 16, 2014. This work included the array because the starter mechanism needed to be replaced and the battery indicator was not working consistently. This well-cared for vehicle is a highly sought after 1996 Ford Mustang GT 2 Door Coupe, with a 4.6 L 2V SOHC V-8 Engine with Automatic Overdrive Transmission. It has 8 cylinders with fuel injection and catalyst. This car is classified as a subcompact for mileage rating purposes and has consistently gotten very good mileage over its years of use with us. It does not require Premium grade gas. With a black leather interior this car has some of the most comfortable seats you will find in any car. It is clean inside and out, as can be seen in the photos, with the only signs of age due to normal wear and usage. We are planning to downsize, so we will not need this car and hope we can find a new owner who will fully appreciate and take care of it, as we have, so that it continues to be around for at least 17 more years.
