Vehicle Detail
1964 Plymouth Savoy Station Wagon THIS CAR IS LOCATED IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. I am in the military, on temporary duty down here and have the car with me. White Exterior (original paint) -Some rust (see RUST below), but mostly solid -All trim and bright work is there -Floors have some of the typical early B body rust-All the dash lights work, as well as the gauges, RUST: There is some rust on the car, and I will describe it the best I can. The worst of the rust is the passenger rear ¼. The rear floor board back by the spare tire is really nice and there is no rust there. The passenger side front floor board and the passenger side rear floorboard where the passengers feet would go are solid. The driver’s side floorboard is rusted through, as well as the driver’s side rear floorboard where the passengers feet would go. The driver’s side rear ¼ is ok, but will need to have some work done to it. The tailgate has some rust at the bottom. The fire wall has a couple spots of rust that have gotten through. The rear wheel wells have about a fist sized spot of rust in front of the rear tires in the wheel well themselves. The front fenders have some rust here and there as well. The car is really not all that bad, the passenger rear ¼ just makes it look worse than it is. I have some detailed pics if you would like to see them. If you want to see any other pics please let me know. Red Interior (all original interior) Original Slant 6 engine with 3 speed manual in the column -Engine starts and runs great -Transmission shifts and works like it should -Mileage is believed to be original 8 ¾ rear axle with unknown gear ratio (but seems like highway gears) 4 wheel manual drum brakes. Brakes are mostly new, BUT I just found out the left rear brake line has a small hole in it and leaked out all the fluid over the past few months, so the brakes need bled. There are little to no brakes at this moment. They just need bled and that left rear brake line replaced. Air Conditioning -Either factory or dealer installed (not sure) -A/C does blow, but not real cold All New BF Goodrich tires (22560R15 front, 25560R15 Rear) 0 miles, new today. New rear shocks and new battery. This car is in remarkably good condition for being as old as it is (except for what rust is there). It starts up and runs every time; I have driven this wagon with no problems (except for the brakes at this moment). In fact, if you can stand the heat, I would have no reservations about you flying in and driving this car home (once you fixed the brakes). This car is road worthy (once the brakes are fixed) and is ready for you to do whatever it is you want to do with it. I have a set of rear stainless steel brake lines that go with the car that will fix the brakes. If you use the buy it now I will put those on and get the brakes working for you. If we agree on an offer, then I will still give you the stainless rear brake lines, but I will not put the on for you. I bought this car at a car show in Wichita, Kansas. I just fell in love with it and drove it for a while, then I wound up getting a '64 Plymouth Sedan so I need to make some room for the new project. I am selling only because I do not need to be spending money on 2 '64 Plymouths. I have a clear title in hand and am ready to sell this car. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking at the auction
