For sale is this hard to find 2002 Chevy Suburban 2500 (3/4 ton) with four wheel drive. This SUV was retired from the California Highway Patrol where it served as a command vehicle. It has always been solid white and never had any decals on it. This suburban never had any spotlights or emergency lights on the outside and there is only one small antenna mounted on the roof. The heavy duty Reunel bumper with an integrated winch were installed by CHP, it works great and includes the remote controller for the winch. This Suburban is equipped with the 6.0 motor, automatic transmission, power steering and ABS disc brakes, tilt wheel, cruise control, power windows and locks, am-fm radio, roof rack and factory tow package. Also included is an alarm system with remotes. This Suburban does not have a third seat, CHP had a cabinet mounted back there. Third seats are available locally or on ebay if that is important to you. The body of this Suburban is very good with only a few minor dings, there is no evidence of previous repairs and NO rust.The interior is good with no rips and no holes from mounting emergency equipment, the command console is still in place where the equipment was located. Mechanically it runs great with no problems, everything works as it should and the air conditioning is ice cold. CHP regularly maintains their vehicles and does not scrimp on repairs. A new windshield was just installed. 3/4 ton Suburbans are hard to find and whether you're an outdoorsman or looking for the ultimate tow vehicle for your restored CHP car this one would be hard to beat, especially with the front bumper and winch. A smog certificate will be provided for California buyers. All inspections should be done BEFORE the end of the auction.
