Alfa 164 1995 LS, automatic. Around 204,200 miles. Bought it as semi project but I have no time to make it perfect. While it starts and drives, consider it as a project or for parts. My buy it now price is one half of the value of the parts in this car. I would not take it to a cross country trip. But if you are in the area you can come and pick it up, but I recommend a trailer for longer trips. Car is sold AS IS as a project or parts car. I do not know too much about it and I am not a mechanic. No warranty. No promises. I simply do not know enough about it other than what is described below. I do have the title in hand. The VIN is ZARED43E8S6313361. I do have carfax report attached. As a car collector, I am open for interesting trades of more or less same value. The good: New battery and starter that I recently had installed. Car starts and drives. There is a folder with lots of paperwork for work done including major work at 188K miles, but I have not looked at the folder carefully and could not verify the work. Interior is nice. Black leather has no cracks and looks good. Exterior is complete and looks good for the car's age and miles. However, it is not perfect. Wheels seem to be upgraded (Tires not great). The Bad: First, carfax shows accident from 2003. I do not know what it was and have no information about it. but it is not salvage. Leather peeling off the steering wheel and shifter. Some electronics work, some not. When the car brakes, just before it stops, there is a rattle from the front brake. But it does brake, and stops. Also, there is a leak from the power steering pump and a small leak from an oil line in the front. AC blows air but not cold. I did not go over every single switch and button but I do know some work and some not. Overall ,this could be a great project for someone with the time and resources to fix the things that are wrong, or could be a parts car as backup for another Alfa 164.
