Vehicle Detail
The headlights open and close as they should, the horn works, the Power windows work, the driver's power seat works and there are no cracks in the dash. The engine, transmission and brakes work and is drivable, but I would tow it home. I bought this last August for what was at that time a Chrysler nut friend that I helped out for being a handyman of sorts for me. Although saying he would start payments,He never paid one cent towards the Shelby. We are no longer on speaking terms- he stole from me-so it is time to sell the Daytona. Last August the AC blew cold (not Ice Cold),but now it does blows warm. It started right up and even though I ran it once a month, either the battery has gone bad or the part of the alternator that charges is not working properly. I will charge the battery before delivery. If that doesn't solve the problem then it will need to be jumped. It starts easily with my jump box. The right rear tire seems to want to hold air for a couple of days. The engine seemed to run well and the transmission shifted, but a tuneup and all the other things would help it tremendously. I don't know much about these cars,so my knowledge is limited. As seen in the pictures it should be re-painted and the carpet may need more than a cleaning. It was a desirable car to Chrysler guys in the 80's,the automatic transmission should be somewhat rare and the engine was quick when all things worked as they should. Clear Colorado title in my name. The transporting of the car is up to the new owner. No zero feedback bidders. Cash on pickup preferred.
