Vehicle Detail

VERY LOW RESERVE!! Up for auction is a 1977 Ford LTD II. I bought the car off of Ebay 2 months ago from Jerry Thene of Indiana who was nice enough to LIE about the entire sale. THE GOOD :: The car is a 351 2V with 78k original miles. The interior is in great - but dusty condition - needs cleaning. Seats have no rips, dash is in good shape and the carpet is ok too. The transmission works fine from the movers I used, but I am unable to test it further. The paint is about 95% with almost no rust. The roof is faded but also not ripped or torn. The car has ALL exterior trim, 4 original wheels/hubcaps, and the booklets that were for the car in 77 (sales, manual etc). The Bad :: The engine will not turn over. My local mechanic is not a older car gearhead - he prefers to win races in RX-7s that run low 10s in the 1/4. He thinks the problem is fuel/spark related and may just be a carb issue, but cant work on it himself. He did say the engine spins freely with no knocking of any kind. The paint is 100%, but has some small marks from hail damage. Jerry said it was on the hood, but it is all over and annoying. The paint is still good and from a distance the car looks great. There are a few other things - like the radio face needs fixed, the rear of the roof has a few small bubbles under the vinyl, but this is a car that could easilly be restored or a daily driver. I was wanting something to drive around and where I have NO experience fixing cars, am in need to sell it. SALE INFO :: The car is being offered well under NADA value (as you can see from pic) and is being sold as-is. This car will need to be towed and buyer is responsible for transport (though I will help any way I can). I have title in hand and will send it upon win. $300 deposit due within 24 hours and final pmt due in 10 days unless arrangements are made. Please email with any questions and I will try to answer best I can. Thanks and God Bless.
