Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is an outstanding 1941 Chevrolet 2-door Cabriolet convertible with over 40 factory or dealer installed options and accessories including for example: short-wave radio, fender skirts, hood ornament, 'spinner' steering wheel, umbrella and holder, windshield washer, overflow tank, dual horns, etc. Too many to mention here [email for full list]. Gorgeous cream/yellow paint. The underside is as clean as the topside. Completely restored over a multi-year period and AACA Senior First Place Winner in 2000. Red leather seating, Wide White Wall Firestone Tires, wood-grain dash. Completely rebuilt original 216 cubic inch 'stove-bolt' 6-cylinder engine by Certified Engine Rebuilders Sheaffer Brothers of Carlisle, Pennsylvania [Number 833] on 4/29/1986: cylinders .030 over; rods .020 over; and mains .010 over. From my knowledge 8,895 miles on the odometer since the rebuild. This rust-free vehicle was built in Oakland, California where it spent most of its life and then went to Pennsylvania for its restoration and then to New England a few years ago. This is one of the rarest and best [if not THE best] '41 Chevy Cabriolets in existence. Clear New Hampshire title in hand. What does this car need? The kick panel vinyl covers have come unglued a bit and need to be re-glued....That's it. Please feel free to email for more information.
