Vehicle Detail

1976 Porsche 912e. This car was my weekend cruiser. It runs perfect. During my ownership nearly every mechanical system has been gone through. Some new parts include: Fuel pump, hoses and filter. Clutch, pilot bearing and throw out bearing, flywheel resurfaced. Rear half shafts rebuilt with bearings, boots and wheel seals. All rubbers boots on engine were replaced. Engine was resealed and all tin sand-basted and then powder coated. Points replaced with electronic, new wires, cap and plugs. Voltage regulator replaced with solid state. Transmission was resealed and filled with Swepco 201. Starter replaced with Nippondenso high torque unit. All new heat exchanger hoses currently not all installed. Engine mounts replaced and shifter joint was replaced with a nice Wevo unit. Shifter replace with Porsche oem short shift. Rotors replaced and front calipers rebuild, included will be a kit to rebuild the rear calipers. Steering wheel sleeve replaced, front tie rods replaced with turbo units. Some cosmetic improvements were done too. Wheels are 16" Porsche Cup 1 that were sand-blasted and powder coated. Staggered size. H&R wheel spacers to fit the wheels. Stock Fuchs will be included also. Front and rear bumpers resprayed, rear bumper guards removed and holes filled. New Hella license plate lights. Oem bumper guards will be included if the new owner would like to put them back on. Just redrill the holes. New tail light lenses, new wiper arms. Car was re-indexed to Euro ride height. New trunk carpet. Engine insulation replaced when engine was out. New floor mats, originals still decent and will be included. Car condition: The paint is the only weak spot of this car. If you are looking for a show car then it needs a respray. It has a ding on the passenger side door and on the drivers side of the hood. Interior is quite amazing with the only imperfection being some slight staining on the head liner.. maybe cleanable but never tried. This car has been garaged kept all its life. Engine runs like it should, cold start is perfect, high idle works, runs out good. Transmission shifts through the gears perfect, 1st gear can be tricky after a stop. I was told this was common and Porsche upgraded 1st gear syncro in 1977. Best thing to do is put the car in 1st right before coming to a complete stop then no issues. Windshield has a minor leak when spraying with a water hose. Included is a new windshield seal. The car handles amazing and steers perfect. Very fun to drive. Needs: Car needs new rear tires, they are down to the wear bars. All oem parts I have will be included, emission equipment minus the smog pump, Blaupunkt working radio, left over gaskets ect.. I have tons of receipts, sales agreements, pictures, maintenance, ect from previous owners. This is a well documented LOW mileage car. I know I forgot a lot so ask questions. This car is re-listed due to fraudulent bids. No reserve must sell.
