Here is a very nice original example of a 78 C-10 short bed pick up. This is originally a southern truck and has only been in the north for 6 months. This truck is in original unmolested condition, rust free top and bottom. The undercarriage, frame and floors as well as all undercarriage plumbing are all in clean rust free condition. The body appears to have the original paint with a touch up here and there but no rust at all. The truck has a new Chevy 350 crate engine in it with less than 1000 miles on it. Carburetor has been rebuilt and the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, all filters belts and hoses replaced. While the engine was out I installed a new Hughes performance 2500 rpm stall torque convertor. The truck has a new Dynomax dual exhaust system installed with Super Turbo mufflers, not loud at all just a nice rumble.The A/C has been converted to R-134A and has a new compressor installed and blows nice and cold. Brakes are all new as are all 4 shocks, front coil springs and rear springs re-arched. All 4 tires are new Firestone LT235-75-R15. The interior is in very good condition for the age no rips or tears in the seat. The dash has a protective cover but is in good condition underneath with no cracking. The bed has a new Linex spray in liner and the aluminum cap is new as well. There is a class 3 receiver hitch on the truck. The odometer has 62500 miles which is original but will increase as I drive this daily. This is still a nice looking truck but is not new and does have some scratches and parking lot dings and is a great running and driving truck. Pick up and payment due in cash within 7 days of close.
