We brought this car in from Texas a couple of years ago and got everything sortedso it would pass CA smog. My wife saves 60-90 minutes twice per day getting to andfrom LA by being able to drive solo in the carpool lane. The car just got re-smoggedsuccessfully and is registered through May 2014. We are moving from Orange County and no longer need this commuter workhorse. This car is sold AS IS – no warranty or guarantee. I don’t know cars at all, but I will tell you it had an oil change yesterday and they also replaced a couple of engine mounts. There are dents and scratches you would expect from a car that started its life as a city code enforcement car (many shown in the attached photos). The clear coat is wearing off the hood. No upholstery tears (except for back flat area where a light was once mounted). One of the little H hubcaps is missing from the back left. The hood release opens fine but then needs a little jiggling for the hood to re-latch. The automatic passenger front window operates slowly and intermittently. We never bothered getting either of these fixed. There are creaks you would expect to hear from a car with over 130,000 miles on it - they have been there since we bought it and has been through many a service/safety inspection. It is perfectly presentable though this car won’t receive any “most beautiful” awards but it will get you from A to B quickly on California freeways. Payment details: A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be made via PayPal within 24 hrs of auction close. Balance to be paid within 3 days via certified/cashier's check from a verifiable institution with local branches only, US postal money order preferred (no other money orders will be accepted due to counterfeits going around), or cash (in person only, DO NOT mail cash). If you require documents to be mailed please add $20 to final price for overnight service. Item must be picked up within 5 days of auction's close.
