Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1985 Euro Spec 930 Turbo. If you're looking at this listing you already know all you need to know about this legendary supercar so I will skip that for the most part and get to a description of this particular car. The VIN number is WP0ZZZ93ZFS000229 and doesn't show up on the eBay system because it is considered a 'rare exotic'. I have a clean title. The car is very original and unmolested for the most part. It looks like the paint is mostly original and still very shiny and presentable. I say mostly original because the previous owner told me there was some light damage to the drivers side, as noted in the CarFax that I have. There is no visible indication of previous damage at all, either on the outside or from the undercarriage, so damage must have been extremely light and very well repaired. The car has been in the US since 1986 when the original owner imported it from Germany. I bought it close to 3 years ago and it is licenced and safetied in Québec Canada, easily shipped back into the US or overseas. The car drives great and handles perfect. Brakes are excellent. Accelerates like crazy. Maintenance in the past year and a half include; new tires, new front shocks, new shifter bushings, all gaskets on the boost side of the intake are new, clutch ajustment, 3 month old battery, distributor cap, rotor and wires, and I'm forgetting some. The car has a CD radio installed but I have the original Blaupunkt cassette deck that comes with the car. Original Fuchs wheels with almost new rubber. Overall the car is very clean and tight. The paint iS a solid 8 ou of 10 driver, with a few stone chips from years of driving, but very acceptable. The interior is a solid 8 also, with nothing to note except some shinking of the dash pad that is very common on these cars. The only major problem with this car THE THIRD GEAR DOES NOT WORK. The car engages in all other gears and shifts ok, and the clutch works well. You can still drive anywhere you need to take it, but the transmission will definitely need some work. Here's an opportunity to pick up a 930 Turbo for a reasonnable price. If you are mechanically inclined, you can probably swap in a transmission for relatively cheap. The mileage indicated is 19,043 miles but the actual miles are unknown .It is estimated to be between 75,000 and 100,000 miles but the odometer stopped working a long time ago. CarFax shows the car had 59,000 miles in 1992. All other guages work properly. I've just returned from my mechanic today (like I said, the car drives A1 except for 3rd gear that does not engage at all) and after the diagnostic, I decided to list it on eBay as is, and if it does not sell in the present condition, I will have it repaired. FOR SHIPPING: I own a trucking business and can deliver your car to your door for a reasonnable price anywhere in Canada and the US. Just email me at kevin@rpmtransit.com with any question, and include your zip code for a freight quote. BID WITH CONFIDENCE. LOOK AT MY FEEDBACK, I'VE SOLD A COUPLE HIGH VALUE COLLECTIBLE MOTORCYCLES.
