Original 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Perfect Project Car NO RUST TO REMOVE A lot of New Sheet Metal Make this car into whatever and however you want it!! Blank Canvas for a restoration! Original 289 C Code Car Comes with a 302 engine. Link to Pictures http://s1228.photobucket.com/user/mtdubvee/library/1968%20Mustang%20Fastback%20C%20Code You are bidding on an original 1968 ford Mustang Fastback. The was is an original C code 289 2V car with a C4 Automatic. The original color was Wimbledon white with red interior. It did have a fold-down rear seat. The original engine and transmisson is gone. The original 8" rearend is still in the car. The car has had a lot of work done to it. When I got the car many years ago it was rusty. Since then the following has been replaced. - New Full Passenger Side Quarter- New Driver side Quarter skin- New Passenger Side Rocker Panel- New Full Floor Pan- New Seat Boxes- New Torque Boxes- New Tailight Panel- New Trunk Pans- New Rear Lower GT Valance- New Wheelhouses- New Rear Passenger Frame Rail End about 18" of the end was replaced with a new one. I do have the original steel dash for this car.I also have a 1967 Shelby GT500 Style Short Hood for the car.I have the upper quarter inside fiberglass inserts that the slide handle connects to to vent air inside the car.A few other small miscellaneous pieces. The front end was completely replaced from the firewall forward with a donor car front end. It was done by a professional shop that built a jig for the car before the old front end was removed and the new one installed. Its a nice fit that looks good. Front end is super solid. ALL OF THE FRAME RAILS ARE SOLID AND STRAIGHT!! All of the new sheetmetal that is on the car has not been fully installed. The new sheetmetal still needs to be welded into place. I do not have the doors or fenders. What you see in the pictures is how the car comes except for the 302 engine that needs rebuilt, the shelby hood, and the dash. I have the metal VIN tag that goes on the dash. The car does roll. It does not have brakes, or any front steering or suspension. Like I said, pretty much what you see in the pictures is what you get. This car would be easy to finish to get to a full solid shell. At that point its a blank canvas just waiting for you to do whatever you want to do with the car. Eleanor clone, restomod, original car, or drag racer. Car is sold with a notarized BILL OF SALE ONLY. I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE. The car came from Alabama which is a no title state, so I never had a title. Titles can be obtained relatively easy these days. Please feel free to ask any questions. Car is located in Beckley, WV 25801. Feel free to come and inspect the car. I will help ship this car anywhere in the world. Car is sold as-is with no warranty or title. Thanks and Happy Bidding!!
