Vehicle Detail
**Please contact me with offers if you wish to buy immediately** I bought this as a toy/project to finish and decided I had better use the money for an engagement ring before I ended up alone with my jeep. I bought this from a local mechanic who built this at his business over the past year and will do my best to explain all I remember him telling me. After he bought the jeep, he replaced the 360 engine that was in it with another one, mileage is unknown. He pulled the engine apart and went over everything before buttoning it back up. He also pulled the Fiberglass body off the original frame that was rusted out and replaced with a good frame which he then bedlined to prevent it from rusting. New parts that were installed include, but not limited to as I know I've forgotten some thing, are: 4 barrel Edelbrock carb, starter, white face gauges, distributor and wires, alternator, clutch and throw out bearing, valve cover, tie rod ends, Yokohama 33x12.5x15 all terrain tires (less than 3,000 miles), Pacer wheels, CD player (no speakers), B&M shifter for the 4 speed manual transmission, body mount bushings, shocks, steering stabilizer, wiper motor, fuel sending unit, heater vents. Additional items of interest: Comes with 2 sets of front seats (no rear). The installed set is a racing type called Procar, also have the original brown/tan seats in the back. Only has the hard top which is in fair condition and hard doors with roll up windows, both were covered in bedliner. Has headers into side exhaust which means it's loud. All lights and signals work. Has a tilt steering column. What all does it need? Cosmetically it could use a paint job and the fiberglass needs to be sanded as the door rubs (or maybe the doors need to be adjusted). These were not major concerns of mine since it was just to be a toy. I had planned on bedlining the interior as currently it has camo fabric in the rear area. It's an old jeep that is functional but hasn't been restored. The driver side rear drum is seeping gear oil. Aftering talking to the local 4x4 shop, they advised it could be an axle seal or an issue with the hub. From looking at the Morris 4x4 Center website, I found axle seals are only $4-5 or the hub itself is only $45; however, it could just be the hub nut came loose as the previous owner just replaced the hub and bearings. Since it involves the drivertrain they advised against driving it. I do not have the tools nor know how to take off the brake drum so it is my due dillegence to pass along that driving this home would not be advised. It still drives but I didn't want to risk damaging something. If you have any questions, please ask and I will answer to the best of my abilities. I can send additional pictures if needed. Deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction ending via PayPal or Cash. Balance is due within 7 days of auction end, cash or cashiers check and I will not release the vehicle until the funds clear due to potential fradulent activites. There is no warranty and I have done my best to describe. I reserve the right to end auction early as it is also up for sale locally. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping and I will do my best to work with you. Thanks for looking.
