1989 Honda CR

1989 CR125 I just had the top end done (bored 1.25mm over or .050) by JC Specialty. I just put it together last night but when I went to start it, it idles up and down and when you give it gas and shuts off. Started up this morning and same thing. Had trouble getting it started and pulled the plug and noticed a small amount oil. My brother works as a Yamaha Kawasaki mechanic and said it may be the crankcase seal. Which would also explain the oil I just noticed this morning and that would be the only way oil would get into the cylinder. The lower rod bearing was tight. May be an easy fix and only a couple bucks for the gasket and maybe crank bearings? I do not have the time to pull the motor and look as I have 4 other bikes I need to work on. It is an '89 so it is what it is and far from perfect. I have some gaskets for the bottom end to go with it since I bought a complete gasket kit and didn't need to use. Has a new air filter but it was missing the bolt to hold it in. The rubber exhaust holder that is attached to the frame ripped halfway when I put it back on. I have almost around 180 bucks into it. The plastic was repainted prior to my ownership and is chipping, seat has two tears in the back. When I tighten the side bolts the kick start spring does not pull it back up when I loosen the bolts it works great. Worked well prior to putting the cover back on (probably just missed something). Carb and motor are nice. Has an FMF exhaust. This would make a cheap trail, field, woods bike if you have the knowledge to fix it. I don't want to make it sound worse than it is, I just want to be honest. As you can tell from the photo it's not bad just "ugly" with the red tank and seat. I strongly suggest anyone interested comes to look at the bike. It is being sold as is no warranty. This is for pick up only.
