Mileage: 1312 This is a very nice nearly all original vintage 1972 Honda CT70 3 speed auto. The bike is in very nice shape. It does have a few blemishes as expected for 41 years old. The paint on the main body is all original and in very nice condition with only a few minor blemishes. The front headlight mounting brackets and shock covers do have a few scrapes and scratches in the original paint. These could be repainted for a new look. The chrome on the fenders and tail light bracket are showing some very minor oxidation . Overall the chrome is quite nice. The exhaust looks very good and has no leaks. There has been a weld repair to lower rear of the exhaust pipe. The rims have been repainted at some point as well as both engine side covers. The battery is recently new. The seat has been replaced by a newer model (1980's or 90's) seat that is an inch or so taller than the vintage 1972 seat. The underside of seat pan is in nice shape. There has been a minor weld repair to the pan. The handlebars are in nice shape and are very straight. The tires show some wear but are in overall good condition. Headlight, tail light and brake light are in working order as well as the horn. Overall this is a very nice bike for it's age. It is not perfect..... but an overall excellent example of a 41 year old survivor bike. It would be awesome left as a "survivor" or restore it if you wish. It starts first or second kick and runs well after a brief warm up. The trans shifts smoothly and the brakes are in good working order. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
