If you’re a Chevy truck guy and you’re in need of a new truck but just can’t stomach the price of a new one and are in love with the classic body style then I have just what you may need. It’s my 1998 K1500 Silverado extended cab 3rd door with the short bed and only 57,000 pampered miles. Read on for a full description. Mechanically this truck is strong, the 5.7L Vortec V8 engine starts smooth and sounds great through all the RPM band. No leaks or smoke anytime. Auto transmission shifts great as well. All fluids are clean and look to have been changed regularly. Current PA state inspection and emissions stickers. Brakes, steering, glass and lighting all above par. The tires are 265’s and have about 70% tread remaining. Aluminum wheels are all very nice with only a little clear pealing back around the center cap. Underneath is clean and nice with your typical surface rust on bolts (see pictures). A/C is cold and heat is hot. Needs nothing mechanically. Cosmetically also very nice for a 16 year old truck. This is exactly how the truck was traded in at the new Toyota dealership, never buffed or shampooed, just washed and vacuumed. Thats how nice the 1-original owner kept it. There are a few stone chips and light scratch here and there. I’m a stickler for rust so I looked over it with a magnifying glass and couldn’t find an ounce. None even under the tailgate lip or door seems. The interior was kept the same way, nice. No cracks on the dash, carpets, headliner or seats. Very clean inside. No evidence of a smokers truck, just clean and nice. All power windows and locks work great. Keyless entry with two sets of keys and fobs. This is just a very nice truck all around.
