Well the answer to that question simple, but came out of necessity after a great loss. Many have asked about it's condition and several other valid questions regarding this vehicle. I hope the following with addresses these concerns. However, if any of you have further questions, you are welcome to get a hold of me or my dad at the contact info provided below. My parents bought this beautiful Suburban new at Ewald in Oconomowoc, WI. They were in need of a new vehicle to pull their 32 ft RV Trailer. We, as a family (my Mom, Dad, sister, her three children--the youngest being 2 years old, and I) had just experienced a major accident involving a freak wind shear that pushed us off the road in Arkansas, as we were headed down for a family reunion. The accident totaled their 2004 Chevy 3/4 Ton Suburban 2500. However, after striking trees at 55 mph, no windows shattered and we all walked away. I believe largely due to the love and grace of God.. However, as a result of the proven safety of the vehicle model and the performance of easily pulling the trailer and hauling the family to various vacations and events, they chose to get another one. Now, to the reason of selling it. We lost my mom last October. Aside from the grief and emotional roller coaster, there is an obvious financial side too. Plus, it just didn't make sense for my dad to have a 32 ft trailer for himself. We sold the trailer about a month ago. Now, it's time for the Suburban. My mom was a retired nurse and my dad is a pastor. They both and now just dad does his best to keep everything they own nice, clean and well maintained. So, he always madesue that it got the oil changed regularly and other needs met. As you see, there is still a lot of tread on the tires. Aside from a couple of non-reportable accidents--passenger mirror with garage door frame and damage to the back door--there have been no accidents with this vehicle. Dad had both the mirror and back door replaced by licensed professionals this past winter. As you see in the pictures, I have included everything and have nothing to hide.. obviously it needed vacuumed before taking these.. for that I apologize, however all the leather is in good condition. all the interior in general. Aside from normal wear of road use, it is a very good vehicle. The rust seen on the underside is normal surface dust that every vehicle at this age has.. however I will address this with the Environmental Protection people and include their response. Not sure if that warranty is transferable either.. will investigate. Thank you for your interest and questions... if you would like to contact my dad or I with specific questions or concerns you are welcome to ask on here, call or text dad, Wayne, at (262) 993-6008 or myself, John, at (262) 389-5872. Thank you again and happy bidding. On Jun-15-13 at 05:39:44 PDT, seller added the following information: After speaking with dad this morning, I have some corrections to my revisions..lol. First, concerning the accident, it happened in 2009 and the vehicle was a 2006 Suburban not a 2004. Also, Papa (as the grand kids call him) was quick to mention that the youngest was 4 years old, not 2. Oops. He did want me to explain that the low mileage is largely due to mom's poor health, they did not take many long trips. Also, he wanted me to include that the Suburban, as part of the safety has Separate Manual Blind-spot Mirrors that are part of the normal mirror mount as seen in the pictures.
