This car can definitely be driven to any destination. V8 273 that has been bored 30 over. This beautiful, smooth riding Dodge Dart Custom is ready to be used, it just needs someone to drive it. I have been reluctant to take this anywhere for fear of damage. I have kept it as a collector car and it has rarely been driven since I completed the restoration. This car has very low mileage, has about 1,000 miles since rebuild. New engine. New transmission. New paint. New interior. New radiator. 318 big valve heads. 650 dual feed Holley. Edelbrock manifold. Dual exhaust with cross over pipe. $550.00 exhaust system. Stuart Warner gauges. Power disc brakes. Power steering. New MSD ignition system. Sony CD player. New windshield. The exhaust on this car sounds beautiful. No dents, no rust, no damage. The front end has all been re-done including power disc brakes installed, ball joints, tie rod ends, pitman arm, idler arm, steering box, all replaced. It has a torsion bar suspension in front and bushings are new on that. It has leaf springs in the back which are original and in excellent condition. Vellios Automotive (4625 Manhattan Beach Blvd. in Lawndale, CA (310) 643-8540) did the engine, it was assembled by Lou, their engine assembler. Gilbert did the transmission, he is the owner of California Transmission (20416 Normandie in Torrance, CA (310) 324-8424).
