Vehicle Detail
If you are in the market for a stock vintage British Motorcycle this is a sweet one. In my younger days I was a Triumph Dealer Mechanic. Thru the years I have repaired, rebuilt, restored and painted numerous British bikes. I bought this bike a few year back and built it to match my first bike. Of all the 500 Triumph series ever made this bike is the last and latest series with the best engine improvements. The crankshaft has roller bearing and ball bearing main bearings, the crankcase venting system is the best and most improved of the Triumph designs. The oiling system on the valve rocker assemblies is also the best of Triumph designs. This bike was disassemble down to the last bolt and meticulously rebuilt, and painted to match original red color. All bolts were chrome plated. The engine was completely rebuilt: Cylinders bored, new Hepolite pistons, Crank remachined with new rod and main bearings, crankshaft was balanced, new cam bushings, new valves (4) and new guides (4), all new transmission bearings, all new seals and gaskets. The engine and frame numbers are matching. The following parts are brand new on this bike: Dunlop tires and tubes Stainless Steel spokes Wheel bearings Control Cables Emgo Tac Emgo Steedometer Tac Cable Speedo Cable Emgo Alternator Rotor Zener Doiode Rectifier Wiring Harness Carb gasket kits Gas shut off valves Ignition wires Lucas points and condensers Seat Stop light switch Champion spark plugs Tank Badges Front Fender Front and Rear fender stays Handle bars Control Levers Exhaust pipes Mufflers and clamps Fork tube bushings (4) Fork seals (2) Triple tree bearings (2) This bike was just finished and is right out of my shop with only a few test miles on it. It will require at least 300 mile break in period. The bike is being sold as is with no warrantee. This bike starts easily and runs as good as it looks. A non refundable deposit of US $500 on PayPal will be required within 24 hours of commit to purchase. The remaining balance to be paid within 7 days in US cash or PayPal. This sale is for buyer pickup or I will ship. The buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and all costs. Bike will ship after final payment has been received and cleared. The bike is located in a Suburb west of Chicago. Thanks for looking. HAVE A NICE DAY
